        • "I think this is one of the most iconic Australia songs ever written - I know what the band means to me ... several of the members are extremely close friends of mine"

Crowd favourite Abbe May returned to Breakfast with Taylah for a second helping of Slightly Odway.

Abbe has been a long-time fan of The Kill Devil Hills and found it only necessary to celebrate them with a take on their track Dirnkin Too Much.

There was also album talk, karaoke video clips and, of course, her new beau, Tuxedo the cat.

        • This weeks local feature comes from @erasersduo with Forecast.
Rebecca Orchard and Rupert Thomas are back with their exploratory drone project Erasers, in the form of their impressive new EP Forecast. Packing 5 cuts of hypnotic, no-wave & avantgarde influenced ambient soundscapes, Forecast sees whirring, buzzing synth pads sit alongside catchy keyboard melodies, with the odd guitar line thrown in for good measure, and Orchard's mesmerising, transfixing vocals featured sparingly and to great effect.
With more than a decade's experience working together, Erasers show their maturity on the new EP, effortlessly bouncing from one idea to another in a manner that embraces minimalism without sacrificing rhythm or structure, resulting in an extremely favourable listening.
